Jobs Descriptions
Provide leadership for the teller line to ensure efficiency and high quality member service.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Present a professional, positive and friendly personality to ensure exceptional service.
  • Direct teller line operations.
  • Load and audit Teller Cash Dispensers (TCD’s).
  • Perform required monthly cash and Traveler’s Check Audits.
  • Create and monitor daily teller staffing schedules, accommodating pre-approved and non-scheduled time off requiring backup personnel.
  • Assist Branch Manager with performance evaluations, DECA grade evaluations, and corrective action when necessary; handle basic conflict resolution under direction of Branch Manager.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs of tellers; communicate effectively with Tellers to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Serve as positive role model and mentor tellers; motivate tellers to maximize performance.
  • Ensure branch is supplied with appropriate amount of cash; order cash as needed.
  • Coordinate daily balancing of ATMs; balance branch vault nightly; coordinate branch balancing nightly.
  • Exercise good judgment when reviewing check holds and overrides.
  • Perform all functions relating to teller duties.


OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the processing of mail deposits and night depository.
  • Handle currency buys and sells for all tellers.
  • Ship out excessive coin and currency.
  • Approve checks presented for deposit or cashing.
  • Cross sell credit union products and services.
  • Order supplies as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required or needed.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • A working knowledge of teller operations.
  • A strong knowledge of TFCU Policies, Procedures, Products and Services.
  • Knowledge of the principles of member service and problem solving to include needs assessment, exceptional experiences and evaluation of member satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical and their applications.
  • Knowledge of the English language, sentence structure, proper grammar and spelling of words.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite products and basic Internet browsing.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and 10 key calculator.
  • Ability to provide input to Branch Manager regarding teller performance, hiring, firing, and corrective action.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

Minimum two years of financial institution experience.

This Administrative position is within the Agriculture Sciences Division group which supports the Manufacturing & Engineering business.

Typical job responsibilities will include:

- Maintain schedules and calendars for numerous meetings by constructively challenging, defining purpose, and prioritizing requests so that objectives are fulfilled. This includes setting up meetings and assisting in the management of those meetings.
- Provide management of larger (global) event scheduling and planning related to the function. Interfaces with hotel/facility personnel to arrange site, equipment, and catering requirements.
- Plan both domestic and international travel which includes coordinating flight schedules, hotel accommodations and rental car reservations. Anticipates passport and visa requirements.
- Arranges schedules of visitors, both domestic and foreign, so that their business purpose is fulfilled.
- Independently manages work flow and communications during supervisors' absences from office. Independently responds to items not requiring supervisors' attention.
- Maintaining website and managing fileshare permissions, fileshare organization, and distribution lists.
- Provide management of event scheduling and planning related to the function. Interfaces with facility personnel to arrange site, equipment, and catering requirements.
- Extracting and developing reports from database.

Qualifications:

- High school degree or equivalent
- 3-6 years of Administrative Assistant experience, is required
- Strong organization and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work independently to complete routine, detail-oriented administrative tasks is essential.
- Commitment to safe work practices is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn computer systems is required.
- SharePoint experience a plus.

Summary
Ensuring our contract employees, clients, and sales teams receive superior service in the areas of customer service and administrative support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring our customers including contract employees, client managers and local sales teams receive superior customer service and administrative support. Specific responsibilities include:

Providing outstanding front office customer service (telephone and reception area)
Hand outs application and/or orientation packets and verifies information for accuracy
Maintains drug testing process (setting up employee for the clinic, logging and updating office report, email/communicating results to the office)
Alphabetize and submit timecards to corporate office for Automated Hours Collection System exception accounts
Processing of payroll checks (sort, stuff, and mail)
File and maintain all office paperwork
Maintaining adequate levels of Pre Employment Packets
Assist with data entry of personal data updates, starts and finishes in PeopleSoft
Processing orientation paperwork to Human Resources Department
Timely processing of Tax Credit Forms and other state required forms
Maintaining adequate levels of administrative support to all internal and external employees
Maintain and organize all office supplies

Education and/or Experience
