LCS2 Readiness Control Officer Instructor, San Diego, CA

Position Description: Imagine One (Norfolk region) is currently seeking an experienced Instructor for a "contingent hire" opportunity in support of the Littoral Combat Ship Training Facility (LTF) in San Diego, CA.

The successful candidate will be a part of a multi-instructor workforce providing advanced training and operating advanced ship-handling simulators to support normal, abnormal, and combat learning objectives for crews serving aboard Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). They will report to and coordinate their activities with the Lead Instructor at the LTF.

2ND SHIFT


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience Requirements: A minimum of ten (10) years operational Navy Fleet engineering experience including a minimum of three (3) years Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) experience in LPD 17 or LCS 2 engineering.

Experience gained while part of a Pre-commissioning Crew can apply to the years of experience.
As an alternative to EOOW experience in LPD 17 or LCS 2 engineering plants, EOOW experience onboard an Aegis cruiser under the Smart Ship concept or on DDG 110 and above is acceptable.
Additionally, the candidate should be an expert in the delivery of both classroom and practical lab instruction.
EOOW qualification in LPD 17 or LCS engineering plants is required.

Desired Experience: NEC 9502.

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.

Salary Requirements: Commensurate with experience.

Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required. Must currently have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance..

Combat Systems Trainer (TAO) / Instructor, San Diego - CA

Position Description:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 4 -7 years operational Navy Combat Systems Fleet experience on either Aegis Surface Combat System or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) equipped ships or LCS class ships as well as experience with Tactical Data Links (TDL), Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M), Search and Rescue (SAR), Navigation, Anti-Submarine Tactical Air Controller (ASTAC) and Surface Warfare. The candidate should have experience as a watch stander in a CWC Organization, preferably as a Surface Warfare Commander or Sea Combat Commander. Must demonstrate the ability to role play various Commanders in a simulated CWC environment. Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) experience is required.

Preferred Experience: Watch Stander in a CWC Organization.

Desired Experience: NEC 9502, Master Training Specialist, 6120 Designator with OOD/TAO letters.

Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. .

Qualifications:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT- Long Beach, CA

Job Senior acounting at Long Beach, CAOur client, a manufacturing organization, located in the South Bay is in need of a Senior Accountant on a contract to hire basis. The Senior Accountant MUST have five years of manufacturing experience. The Senior Accountant will support the Controller in all accounting duties, i.e. monthly closings, accruals, account analysis, production result, variance, standard costing. The Senior Accountant MUST be proficient with the company cost system for both Manufacturing and Engineering and perform related projects as required. Perform period end accounting closing process with Controller. Prepare journal vouchers for accruals, reversals and expense re-allocations. Support operational functions in resolving accounting and control system problems as directed. Maintain fixed asset records. Issue all Accounting and Financial reports to management after period end closing. Maintain detailed account analysis for all General Ledger accounts not supported by subsystems and refer all issues to the Controller. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Senior Accountant must have the ability to understand concepts, prioritization, organization. The Senior Accountant MUST have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel ( v-lookups, macros and pivot tables), QuickBooks Pro is REQUIRED and QuicksBooks Manufacturing a+ . This is a contract to hire position that will pay up to $31.00/hr on a contract basis and up to 65k full time depending on experience.
