Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Calgary - AB, CANADA

Description
Provide expert consulting on the instrument technologies to ensure high
reliability for the operation of refinery and associated units. This includes,
design of control systems, application of instrumentation, troubleshooting
of major issues, reliability, obsolescence assessments and factory and
site acceptance testing.

Engineering Associations.

• Provide refinery operations support, optimization and troubleshooting and shut-down/start-up support of fractionation towers
• Proactively work with refinery technical and operations staff and Process Networks
• Coordinates and drives technology implementation
• Facilitates alignment processes and open, effective communication among stakeholders
• Understands, implements and communicates best practices to stakeholders
• Anticipates future refining requirements and initiates actions to accomplish

Candidate should be able to plan, organize, motivate, influence, coordinate and monitor work of others; demonstrates sound decision making and business judgment; communicates effectively upward and downward; understands and fosters understanding by all stakeholders of objectives and priorities.
