Provide leadership for the teller line to ensure efficiency and high quality member service.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Present a professional, positive and friendly personality to ensure exceptional service.
• Direct teller line operations.
• Load and audit Teller Cash Dispensers (TCD’s).
• Perform required monthly cash and Traveler’s Check Audits.
• Create and monitor daily teller staffing schedules, accommodating pre-approved and non-scheduled time off requiring backup personnel.

• Assist Branch Manager with performance evaluations, DECA grade evaluations, and corrective action when necessary; handle basic conflict resolution under direction of Branch Manager.
• Evaluate and coordinate training needs of tellers; communicate effectively with Tellers to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Serve as positive role model and mentor tellers; motivate tellers to maximize performance.
• Ensure branch is supplied with appropriate amount of cash; order cash as needed.
• Coordinate daily balancing of ATMs; balance branch vault nightly; coordinate branch balancing nightly.
• Exercise good judgment when reviewing check holds and overrides.
• Perform all functions relating to teller duties.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the processing of mail deposits and night depository.
• Handle currency buys and sells for all tellers.
• Ship out excessive coin and currency.
• Approve checks presented for deposit or cashing.
• Cross sell credit union products and services.
• Order supplies as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required or needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• A working knowledge of teller operations.
• A strong knowledge of TFCU Policies, Procedures, Products and Services.
• Knowledge of the principles of member service and problem solving to include needs assessment, exceptional experiences and evaluation of member satisfaction.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical and their applications.
• Knowledge of the English language, sentence structure, proper grammar and spelling of words.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite products and basic Internet browsing.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and 10 key calculator.

Our client is a top-tier international investment bank in Manhattan. They are looking for a Senior Risk Manager. The position is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Compensation is negotiable but is likely to be around $50-65 per hour.

The role of Senior Risk Manager will focus on market risk management as well as assess risk interdependencies with liquidity, credit and operational risk. The candidate will be instrumental in carrying out market risk monitoring and supporting regional Asset Management implementing and advancing of the risk governance framework.


This function forms an integral part of the global AM Risk department within the Risk division.

The candidate will work within a highly regulated and increasingly sophisticated product environment in close co-operation with risk management colleagues around the globe and the AM business units.

Additionally the role includes (not exhaustive):
Proactive and ad-hoc analysis of portfolios and investment instruments
Detect, analyse and communicate risk results and escalate breaches of thresholds or limits to business and senior management, in accordance with global standards
Develop, evaluate and present state of the art risk analytic solutions and valuations models for specific instruments, structured products and derivatives.
Support portfolio management to manage market risks (VaR, expected shortfall, stress scenarios, simulations)



The Senior Risk manager is also responsible for supporting a number of key initiatives including:

Regional & Divisional Framework implementation
Market Risk Toolset development & enhancement
Risk Management Reporting
Assisting on special projects
Pro-active Risk monitoring


General duties:

Support the introduction of new complex and structured instruments for the asset management business

In cases where materials are not available through commercial sources, responsibilities include coordinating action with management to purchase the required items through Government sources and supply systems. Prepares and maintains records, files, and reports. Responsible for maintaining and operating of the automated supply system. Responsible for preparing and editing all shop stock, bench stock, and warehouse stockage listings. 4. Maintains control and accountability of all Government-Furnished Property (GFP) assigned for performance of the contract requirements. Receives GFP and maintains supporting documents and record keeping files. Works closely with the Government Property Administrator. 5. Responsible for proper marking of all property assigned to work centers and subcontractors. Controls hand receipt procedures and property storage as well as movement of property between the work centers and subcontractors. 6. Ensures an accurate physical inventory of all GFP is conducted as required by the contract. Performs record reconciliation based on the physical count and submits inventory adjustments to Property Administrator.
